Description
Brazed plate heat exchangers consist of a series of thin, corrugated metal plates fused together by brazing, forming sealed channels for efficient heat transfer between two fluids. They operate effectively within a temperature range of -200°C to 200°C and can handle pressures up to 30 bar, making them ideal for refrigeration, HVAC, and industrial applications. However, their limitations include difficulty in cleaning or servicing, as they are non-disassemble, and they may not be suitable for systems with high fouling potential or highly corrosive fluids.
